Hi! My name is Katie!
I am married to an incredible guy, Jon, and we have three kids (Charlie, EJ, and Judah), and an old lady mini dachshund named Milly. Shooting weddings is not something I would have chosen for myself way back when, but God led me into it and now I can't imagine anything else. It's where my heart is firmly planted.
I love playing music and having jam sessions with friends, searching for the best tacos and sushi, learning new things (currently mastering pour over coffee), college football, thunderstorms, watching old movies curled up on the couch with my fam, camping, and going on adventures.
Weddings fill my cup. Seeing the weight of the moment in your face as you say, "I do" and working to capture every heartfelt candid moment of the day is beyond meaningful to me. Let's chat!
Currently, I am based in two locations: Chelan, Washington and Chattanooga, Tennessee
We are in the process of moving from Washington state to Tennessee. I absolutely love everything about Washington, including my wonderful associate shooter Marcia, second shooter Mario, and getting to do weddings as "the dream team" with Kristin and Emily from Emily Moller Photography. I will continue to book a very limited number of weddings in Chelan if we are a good fit (mention the dream team in your inquiry if you are interested in working with the four of us).
Otherwise, we are shifting our focus to the Chattanooga area, and excited to explore the area and begin to shoot most of our weddings in Tennessee.
We are looking for couples who value their story. Who want a powerful film that captures their hearts. We want to work with couples who are up for adventure...who want to get some portrait shots in that beautiful, golden, sunset light and who will sit down with us and let us into their lives a little -- let us record you reading letters to each other or reading your vows. We want to climb mountains with you, to be there for the moment your mother cries...we will watch for the details that others miss so your day is as perfect as it can possibly be.
